The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Wednesday announced a significant reshuffle in its Andhra Pradesh unit by appointing JD Seelam and Mastan Vali as the new working presidents. The decision is effective immediately, according to AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal.
In an official release, Venugopal stated that Congress President approved the proposal for Seelam and Vali's appointments. Additionally, a new 25-member political affairs committee has been constituted for the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), with Manickam Tagore appointed as chairman.
The committee also includes prominent members such as YS Sharmila Reddy, K Raju, and MM Pallam Raju, alongside Seelam and Vali. APCC is headed by Sharmila Reddy, and Kolanukonda Sivaji serves as the vice president. These changes mark a pivotal moment in the strategic restructuring of the party's state unit.
