Controversy Erupts Over BJP Leader's Janmashtami 'Aarti' Video

A video showing BJP's Fatehpur district president, Mukhlal Pal, performing 'aarti' in front of a photograph of a mausoleum during Janmashtami celebrations has gone viral, sparking controversy.

Pal, identifying as a devout 'Sanatani', explained he conducted the ritual at home since he couldn't access the disputed site, urging others to do the same.

Following an incident where right-wing members stormed and damaged the mausoleum, political leaders questioned why Pal's name wasn't in the FIR, which halted further investigations led by top officials.
