Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar has pledged his support for the NDA's vice-presidential candidate, CP Radhakrishnan. Kumar announced this decision publicly on Monday, ensuring the backing of his party, JD(U), an alliance member of the NDA.

The announcement followed a meeting chaired by BJP president J P Nadda, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders. The session aimed to strategize and consolidate parties' support for the vice-presidential bid.

CP Radhakrishnan, currently serving as the Governor of Maharashtra, has a solid background in the RSS and stands as a seasoned BJP leader representing the OBC community from Tamil Nadu. His candidacy strengthens the NDA coalition's representation and outreach efforts.
