Queen Camilla of Britain will not be attending the funeral service for the Duchess of Kent due to her ongoing recovery from acute sinusitis, as confirmed by Buckingham Palace. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, a day before the state visit by U.S. President Donald Trump begins.

Despite her absence at the service in London's Westminster Cathedral, Queen Camilla is reportedly keen to participate in all planned engagements for the state visit. Royal sources indicate that Camilla, King Charles' wife, traveled from Scotland and is currently resting at Windsor Castle in preparation for the important diplomatic event.

Meanwhile, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson assured that Camilla's thoughts and prayers are with the Duke of Kent and the grieving family. The Duchess of Kent passed away on September 4, prompting upcoming funeral services in her honor.
