DMK's Future in Peril: Tamilisai Soundararajan Predicts Political Transformation in Tamil Nadu

In a bold political forecast, former Governor and BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan declared that the ruling DMK government in Tamil Nadu will face its demise in the upcoming Assembly elections. Soundararajan, responding to Chief Minister M K Stalin's remark of 'no entry' for the BJP in the state, criticized the DMK's policies as anti-people and suggested that the party has reached its political endgame.

She was particularly outspoken against Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, suggesting that his tenure would not extend beyond 2026, especially after he 'hurt the sentiments' of Hindu citizens. Additionally, Soundararajan questioned Chief Minister Stalin's defense of former minister V Senthil Balaji, citing corruption allegations against him. Despite Stalin's past opposition to Balaji, she criticized the shift in attitude and called for an explanation from the Chief Minister.

Highlighting a significant political divide, Soundararajan noted the reluctance among DMK's allies to express dissent, suggesting a lack of democracy within the DMK camp. In contrast, she stated that NDA allies have the freedom to voice their opinions democratically, indicating a possible shift in political alliances.
