Seventy diplomats from around the globe gathered in Delhi, participating in a tree-planting initiative on Thursday. This event is a part of the 'Sewa Pakhwada' organized by the Delhi government to celebrate the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The event, which took place at the Central Ridge, saw the presence of 75 diplomats, alongside Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, emphasizing international collaboration in environmental efforts.
Coinciding with the birthday of PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced 17 new projects and schemes aimed at development and welfare. The BJP government plans to unveil a total of 75 initiatives in Delhi as part of this campaign, concluding on October 2.
