YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, leader of the opposition in Andhra Pradesh, has launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Reddy accuses Naidu of rescinding house site pattas, originally allocated during the previous YSRCP administration, alleging this move betrays poor women beneficiaries.

According to Reddy, the previous government under his leadership implemented a significant housing initiative, distributing 31.19 lakh pattas to women, thus securing substantial property rights for millions. He emphasizes that despite pandemic challenges, the government completed over nine lakh houses, setting a national milestone.

The YSRCP chief asserts that the current government has failed to contribute to housing development, accusing it of favoring private industrial interests over the welfare of the poor. Reddy vows to contest Naidu's policies through legal and political avenues, indicating an ongoing battle for housing rights in the state.
