The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) secured an emphatic victory in the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections, claiming three out of four central panel positions. Their success is attributed to a strong organizational framework and an aggressive social media campaign that outpaced their rivals.
ABVP's Aryan Maan won the presidency by defeating NSUI's Joslyn Nandita Choudhary by a significant vote margin. Meanwhile, the vice-presidential post went to NSUI's Rahul Jhansla, who managed to secure 29,339 votes.
The ABVP's continuous campus presence and collective campaign approach remained pivotal, contrasting with the NSUI's fragmented strategy. Social media became a battleground where the ABVP's promises gained traction, underscoring the importance of strategic grassroots and digital engagement in student politics.
