Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has accused the Election Commission of India of not cooperating with the Karnataka CID's probe into the alleged 'vote chori' in the state. Speaking in Wayanad, he claimed that the EC has been unresponsive to requests for information on the issue.
Gandhi criticized Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar for withholding critical information from the police, stating it is a significant indictment of the commission's integrity. He reiterated the Congress's intention to reveal compelling evidence implicating Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the alleged election malpractice.
Describing the upcoming disclosure as a 'hydrogen bomb' of proof, Gandhi asserted that the evidence will leave no doubt about the election's legitimacy. He also lambasted the EC as an 'election watchman' complicit in protecting those committing the alleged vote theft.
