On Sunday, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's social media account was compromised, with hackers posting images of the Pakistani and Turkish flags. This incident occurred on the same day as an India-Pakistan cricket match.

An official confirmed that their team took immediate action by notifying the cyber crime police and working to recover the account. The restoration process took approximately 30 to 45 minutes, effectively mitigating further cyber threats.
