A bomb was thrown at the home of local BJP leader Viju Narayanan near Kannapuram, police reported Thursday.
The attack, which occurred at around 2:30 am, resulted in no injuries but caused damage to windows and walls. Police have filed a case against unidentified suspects.
Following the attack, BJP accused CPI(M) of orchestrating the attack, a claim CPI(M) denies, while also alleging police inaction on prior complaints.
