He praised the RSS for its unique approach, which emphasizes transformation from 'Me to We' through the daily Shakha system.
The celebrations were marred by political tensions as opposition parties, including the Congress, criticized the BJP and the RSS, questioning their role in India's freedom struggle. AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi were vocal in their criticism, with Gandhi labeling the RSS ideology as cowardly, citing recent comments from External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on China.
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat defended the organization's mission of building character and discipline through its Shakha system. As the event coincided with Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin emphasized Gandhi's role in fostering India's secular fabric.
