Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's controversial comments in Colombia have triggered a political firestorm. In his speech, Gandhi accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of cowardice and criticized the Narendra Modi government for allegedly attacking India's democracy. His remarks have drawn sharp criticism from BJP leaders who have labeled them anti-India and detrimental to the nation's image.

Rajasthan Minister of State Jawahar Singh Bedham and senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad have lashed out at Gandhi, insisting his statements are intended to tarnish India's image internationally. Prasad further accused Gandhi of abusing PM Modi and undermining India's development, stating that Gandhi's ambition for power is driving his actions.

Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and other BJP leaders denounced Gandhi's comments, reinforcing that such behavior undermines India's constitutional institutions. Meanwhile, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury defended Gandhi as fearless, arguing that the statements reflect the challenges facing Indian democracy. The heated exchange underscores the growing tensions between Congress and BJP as accusations of undermining democracy and patriotism continue to fly.
