In a strategic move to garner support for the National Democratic Alliance, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday echoed the significance of Dravidian roots and Tamil pride.
At a press conference, Naidu emphasized the shared cultural and historical lineage between the Tamil and Telugu peoples under the British colonial Madras Presidency. He lauded Tamil Nadu's contributions to Indian society, citing figures like CV Raman, Abdul Kalam, and Periyar EV Ramaswamy.
Naidu highlighted the regional camaraderie and urged the Tamil populace to vote for NDA candidates in the forthcoming elections slated for April 24, appreciating the temple architecture recognized by PM Modi. Results of the 234 Assembly seats elections will be announced on May 4.
