The India-Africa partnership stands as a beacon of stability amid global turmoil, according to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Speaking at the unveiling event for the India-Africa Forum Summit-IV, Jaishankar emphasized the partnership's pivotal role in navigating complex geopolitical challenges.
Scheduled for May 28-31, the summit aims to strengthen ties between India and Africa, promoting an ambitious, inclusive, and future-oriented collaboration, Jaishankar noted. The event's logo, featuring a lion overlaid on the interwoven maps of India and Africa, symbolizes the enduring bond between the two regions.
Jaishankar also highlighted India's expanded diplomatic presence in Africa, with new missions reflecting the continent's strategic importance to India. Furthermore, he pointed out the alignment of India's Viksit Bharat 2047 vision with Africa's Agenda 2063, arguing that both aim for sustainable growth and inclusive development.
