In a striking allegation, RJD working president Tejashwi Yadav has claimed that JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar was compelled to step down from his position as Bihar's chief minister by the BJP, which allegedly intended to politically 'finish' him.
The claims were made by Yadav during a speech on the assembly floor amid a debate on a vote of confidence for the government led by BJP's Samrat Choudhary. Yadav emphasized the precarious political stability of Bihar, highlighting its multiple leadership changes over the past five years.
Further, he reflected on Samrat Choudhary's political roots in the RJD and issued a warning about internal BJP figures who may view his ascent unfavorably. Yadav also touched on the critical issue of women's reservation, advocating for representation that includes women from marginalized castes.
