Modi Declares Bengal's New Revolution Through Votes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has intensified the BJP's campaign for regime change in West Bengal, pinpointing a decisive shift in the state's political landscape following the first phase of polling. Speaking at a rally in Panihati, he suggested the high voter turnout signals an endorsement of the BJP and a rejection of the TMC.

Modi accused the ruling TMC of undermining democracy and labeled the voter turnout as a rebuilding effort by the citizens. He framed the election as a historic political transition, drawing on the legacy of figures like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and emphasized the ideological stakes involved.

Highlighting women's issues, Modi called the TMC an anti-women party and promised significant reforms to ensure women's safety and empowerment under a BJP government. He also addressed economic grievances, pledging industrial rejuvenation and better governance to restore Bengal's stature.
