Aam Aadmi Party Faces Major Split as MPs Merge with BJP

In a recent turn of events, Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has commented on the apparent split within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), suggesting that it was an inevitable outcome given the party's lack of a coherent ideology. The assertion comes as a significant number of AAP legislators reportedly prepare to align with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Three AAP MPs, namely Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak, and Ashok Mittal, have publicly declared a party split and their plan to merge with the BJP. This move reflects a significant shift in political alignment within the AAP, where two-thirds of its Rajya Sabha members have initiated their transition to join the BJP ranks.

During a press briefing, Raghav Chadha, alongside Pathak and Mittal, explained that seven out of ten AAP members in the Rajya Sabha have opted for this political shift, citing a departure from AAP's foundational principles and a pivot towards individualistic agendas as the driving forces behind the decision.
