Bihar BJP chief Sanjay Saraogi announced that seven AAP Rajya Sabha MPs, swayed by PM Modi's global popularity and the Centre's pro-people policies, decided to join the BJP. The defected MPs include notable names like Raghav Chadha. AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal criticized this move, saying the BJP is destabilizing Punjabis.

In a significant political realignment, Bihar BJP chief Sanjay Saraogi revealed on Friday that seven Rajya Sabha MPs from the Aam Aadmi Party have chosen to join the BJP. This decision, according to Saraogi, is a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's widespread global appeal and the central government's pro-people policies.
Among those who have defected are prominent figures such as Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak, and Ashok Mittal. At a press conference, former AAP member Chadha noted that two-thirds of the party's Rajya Sabha MPs are planning to join the BJP.
Saraogi addressed AAP founder Arvind Kejriwal's comments accusing the BJP of undermining Punjabis, suggesting instead that Kejriwal should focus on addressing the issues within his own party. He criticized AAP's leadership for failing to retain the loyalty of its members due to alleged internal corruption and mismanagement.
