Venezuela and Colombia Forge New Economic Ties

Venezuela is setting its sights on enhancing economic relations with its neighbor, Colombia. During discussions in Caracas, Venezuela's Acting President Delcy Rodriguez expressed plans to boost bilateral trade, while examining the possibility of providing electricity to western Venezuela.

This meeting with Colombian President Gustavo Petro marks Rodriguez's second engagement with a national leader this month, following a similar encounter in Grenada.

Both leaders are focusing on strengthening ties and exploring beneficial partnerships for their respective countries.
