Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday at an election rally in Serampore, Hooghly district. He alleged that both leaders prioritize the wealthy over the poor while focusing on gaining power.
Gandhi accused Prime Minister Modi of selling the country while claiming patriotism. He further alleged that both Modi and Banerjee have neglected creating job opportunities and are instead causing fear and hatred among citizens.
The Congress leader highlighted an ideological battle between Congress and the BJP-RSS, accusing the Modi government of damaging India's small industries and compromising national interests in foreign trade deals.
