DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Minister P K Sekar Babu has expressed confidence in his party's ability to secure a decisive victory in the forthcoming assembly elections scheduled for April 23. Addressing reporters, Sekar Babu declared that DMK chief M K Stalin would emerge victorious, echoing his presence in office once more.
Contestant in Chennai's Harbour constituency for the second time, Sekar Babu emphasized that a significant voter turnout is expected, surpassing the figures recorded in the 2021 state elections. This was attributed to the recent Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, which suggests a heightened electoral engagement.
The Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments predicted that after the vote count on May 4, Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin's leadership would resonate through the halls of governance, hinting at an impending swearing-in ceremony.
