BJP Vows to End 'Goonda Raj' in West Bengal

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Sunday that the BJP is committed to ending the 'goonda raj' and 'syndicate raj' in West Bengal if it comes to power. Speaking at a public rally in Tehatta, Nadia district, he also claimed that the Mamata Banerjee government was effectively wiped out during the first phase of the assembly elections.

Shah reported that the BJP had already won 110 seats in the initial phase of voting on April 23. He assured the public that significant steps had been taken by the Election Commission to ensure a safe voting environment, advising voters not to fear stepping out to cast their ballots.

The BJP leader also emphasized plans to identify infiltrators within the state if the party is elected, promising necessary legal actions against them. His speech was truncated due to unexpected heavy rains, despite a notable crowd at the rally.
