BJP's Bold Promise: Ending 'Goonda Raj' in West Bengal

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, speaking at a rally in West Bengal's Nadia district, declared the BJP's commitment to ending 'goonda raj' and 'syndicate raj' in the state if voted to power. He reported that the party had already secured substantial victories in the first phase of the assembly elections.

Shah encouraged voters to participate fearlessly in the polls, assuring them of adequate security arrangements. He announced that a BJP-led government would identify and take action against alleged infiltrators in the state. Despite a sudden downpour, Shah continued his campaign by addressing another meeting in Ranaghat.

At the gathering, Shah accused the Mamata Banerjee government of facilitating cattle smuggling and promised to form a special squad to curb the crime. He also proposed social welfare initiatives, including a Rs 3,000 monthly allowance for women and unemployed youth, and free state transport rides for women, alongside plans to implement the Uniform Civil Code.
