In a dramatic escalation of political tensions, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has launched a scathing attack on AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal for his recent letter to Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma. The letter, which signaled Kejriwal's withdrawal from further proceedings in the excise policy case, drew sharp criticism from Sachdeva, who accused the Delhi Chief Minister of undermining the Constitution and indulging in political theatrics.
Speaking to ANI, Sachdeva condemned the letter in the harshest terms, alleging that Kejriwal's remarks against the judiciary were detrimental to democracy. "You are making excuses. You are completely shredding the sanctity of the Constitution," Sachdeva charged, calling it a blatant act against constitutional provisions and politicized maneuvering.
Meanwhile, Kejriwal's detailed letter to the judge, expressing concerns over impartiality, has sparked further debate. Though Kejriwal maintains that his faith in the judiciary is intact, his apprehensions raised eyebrows when AAP MP Sanjay Singh alleged a judge's link to the RSS. As the Delhi High Court dismissed Kejriwal's plea, citing a lack of evidence to suggest judicial bias, the battle of narratives continues unabated.
