BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Monday said the Centre's push for rural development, financial inclusion and agri-reforms is empowering villages and making them self-reliant, as he flagged off the 'Rath' for GRAM-2026, proposed Agritech meet here. Addressing the gathering, he said Jan Dhan accounts have ensured that welfare benefits now reach beneficiaries directly, asserting that ''every rupee sent from Delhi reaches the poor in full'', reflecting the transparency brought in under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dispensation. Highlighting efforts in Rajasthan, Nabin said the state has accelerated growth in key sectors, including agriculture, irrigation and rural development, while expanding veterinary infrastructure and self-help groups to strengthen the rural economy. He stressed that the vision of 'Antyodaya', propounded by Deendayal Upadhyaya, is being realised by ensuring that government schemes reach the last person in the queue. Referring to initiatives like Make in India, Startup India and Skill India, he said the youth are increasingly becoming job creators rather than job seekers. Nabin also underlined the importance of grassroots outreach, urging workers to take schemes to villages through direct engagement so that more people can benefit. He expressed confidence that Rajasthan will play a key role in achieving the vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047, with a focus on farmers, youth, women empowerment, education, industry and energy. Earlier, he reached Jaipur Airport from Tonk, where he participated in an event to inaugurate and lay the foundation of the party's district offices. Upon reaching Jaipur, a road show was organised in which Nabin was welcomed by the party workers at various locations.
