Imchen Leads in Nagaland's Koridang By-Election
In the by-election for the Koridang assembly constituency in Nagaland, BJP's Daochier Imchen leads over I Abenjan of the NPP by 1,599 votes. So far, Imchen has received 4,554 votes against NPP's 2,955 after two rounds. Voter turnout was high at 82.21% with three total rounds of counting.

Amidst tight security, BJP candidate Daochier Imchen is leading in Nagaland's Koridang assembly by-election by 1,599 votes over his nearest rival, I Abenjan from the National People's Party.
After two rounds of counting, Daochier Imchen has garnered 4,554 votes, while Abenjan secured 2,955 votes.
The bypoll was necessary due to the death of the sitting BJP MLA Imkong L Imchen, and saw a voter turnout of 82.21% with 18,400 voters participating across 30 polling stations.
