DMK Ministers Face Setback in Tamil Nadu Elections

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin and a cohort of 13 fellow DMK ministers found themselves trailing in a fiercely contested election battle within their constituencies, according to data released by the Election Commission after the third round of vote counting.

Stalin, who is campaigning in the Kolathur constituency, faces a deficit of 2,277 votes. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin is also encountering challenges, lagging by 1,244 votes in Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni.

Senior DMK figure Durai Murugan was trailing by 2,293 votes in Katpadi, with a string of other ministers, including P Geetha Jeevan in Thoothukkudi, and Ma Subramanian in Saidapet, among those struggling to maintain their positions.
