Pinarayi Vijayan's Low-Profile Return After Election Defeat
Following the LDF's significant defeat in the Assembly polls, Kerala's outgoing Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, made an unusually low-key return to Cliff House, his official residence. He traveled without his standard extensive security entourage, instead opting for a private vehicle, accompanied by family and close associates.

Kerala's outgoing Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, returned to his residence with unexpected simplicity following the LDF's electoral downfall. On Tuesday, Vijayan arrived at the airport from Kannur without his typical robust security detail.
No commandos accompanied Vijayan, who traveled to Cliff House in a private vehicle. His modest entourage included his family and Left leaders like V Sivankutty, V Joy, and A A Rahim.
The Election Commission's results showed the LDF secured just 35 of 140 seats, a stark contrast to the UDF's 102-seat victory. Visuals revealed his journey with just a police pilot jeep for company, marking a departure from his usual security convoy.
