On Tuesday, Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring took a firm stance against the AAP government's decision to parade its MLAs to Delhi. He accused the party of resorting to theatrics in a bid to seek the recall of six Rajya Sabha MPs from Punjab who recently switched allegiance to the BJP.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, accompanied by AAP MLAs, met President Droupadi Murmu in Delhi, pressing for the disqualification of the defected MPs and requesting the introduction of a constitutional provision to recall members. However, Warring argued that no such legal framework exists for recalling elected representatives.

Speaking to reporters, Warring criticized AAP's actions as characteristic drama to deflect attention and gain headlines. He pointed out alleged hypocrisy, citing AAP's appointment of outsiders to the Rajya Sabha, and asserted that the party's actions are an outcome of its own political maneuvers.
