A M Ariff, a CPI(M) leader, has called for a comprehensive rebuild within the Left Democratic Front (LDF) after suffering significant electoral setbacks since the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Ariff attributed the recent Assembly election defeat to fundamental cracks in the LDF's foundation, exacerbated by an inability to counter opposition effectively and to address communal comments by SNDP Yogam's Vellappally Natesan.
Outlining a strategy for resurgence, he emphasized the importance of understanding rival strengths and reorganizing the party's structure to ensure a robust response to mounting challenges.
