Kuzhalnadan reacted to media reports suggesting IUML's preference for V D Satheesan as chief minister, urging media not to stoke confusion.
Kuzhalnadan hailed IUML as a vital component of the United Democratic Front (UDF), recognizing its efforts to unify the coalition during times of crisis. He highlighted the mutual support between Congress and IUML, denying rumors of interference in each other's leadership selections. 'Whoever the party chooses will become the chief minister, and there's no need for further speculation,' he remarked.
Reflecting on UDF's recent electoral victory, Kuzhalnadan credited it to the tireless work and sacrifices of party members over the last decade. He noted Congress's national role in appointing various leaders, maintaining that their decisions remain fair and capable.
