On the anniversary of Operation Sindoor, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary hailed the military offensive as a pivotal stand against terrorism. Conducted from May 7 to 10 last year, the operation targeted terror and military bases in Pakistan and PoK.
Operation Sindoor was a direct response to the April 22, 2025, terror attack in Pahalgam, where 26 people, mainly tourists, were killed by Pakistani terrorists. Choudhary emphasized that the operation was more than a military maneuver; it was India's assertive response to threats against national security.
Choudhary celebrated the courage of Indian soldiers, noting that Operation Sindoor underscored the nation's capability to defend its honor. He portrayed "new India" as a nation determined not to remain silent but to decisively counter anti-national activities.
