Sonia Gandhi, a prominent Congress leader, made a visit to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for a routine medical check-up earlier this week.
Jairam Ramesh, a general secretary of the Congress party, confirmed that Gandhi has returned home following her hospital visit.
Sources revealed that she was admitted to the Medanta Institute of Digestive and Hepatobiliary Sciences late at night on Tuesday. No statement has been issued by the hospital regarding her visit.
