Ukraine has resumed its drone assaults against Russian oil refineries and ports, marking the end of a three-day ceasefire suggested by U.S. President Donald Trump. These strategic strikes aim to undermine Moscow's energy revenue and military capabilities as the prolonged conflict continues.

Russia's defense ministry reported on Wednesday the interception and destruction of 286 Ukrainian drones over its regions overnight. In Krasnodar, debris from these drones sparked a fire at an industrial site in Volna, near Taman port—a crucial area for oil terminals.

An additional fire occurred at a gas processing plant in the Astrakhan region, also targeted by Ukrainian drones. The drones were neutralized by electronic warfare, said local officials, adding that the fire was expected to be contained soon with no injuries or casualties reported.
