West Bengal's Minister Agnimitra Paul announced the launch of the 'Annapurna Bhandar' scheme designed to empower women through financial aid. She emphasized the digital accessibility of the application process via an online portal, ensuring that even women with limited education could easily apply.

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari reaffirmed the BJP's commitment to women's welfare, emphasizing that the scheme would grant eligible women a monthly financial sum while guaranteeing free travel on state-run buses. This initiative is part of a broader election promise, reflecting the party's dedication to female empowerment.
