UDF Convener Adoor Prakash hailed VD Satheesan's selection as the Chief Minister of Kerala at a recent press conference. He credited the Congress-led alliance's success in the state to Satheesan's leadership and attributed the past victory in the assembly elections to a unified team effort.
Prakash extended his gratitude to UDF workers for their pivotal role in the party's success, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts within the organization. He stated that the All India Congress Committee's (AICC) decision was inconsequential to internal unity - it will be honored without contest.
Acting upon the results from over ten days past the Kerala Assembly elections, the Congress finalized Satheesan as the chief ministerial candidate despite earlier possibilities including Congress general secretary K C Venugopal and senior leader Ramesh Chennithala.
