Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underscored the significant impact a single vote can have in transforming a region's developmental landscape. He stated that a vote cast for the right candidate fosters growth and curtails mafia dominance, placing emphasis on elections free from caste, regional, and dynastic influences.
Speaking at a ceremony in Maharajganj where over Rs 208 crore was allocated for public welfare initiatives, Adityanath showcased achievements such as transforming the Gorakhpur-Sonauli route into a four-lane highway. He argued that strategic voting can enhance security, generate employment, and extend benefits to all societal strata including farmers and women.
Addressing past challenges, he highlighted improvements since 2017, citing significant infrastructure advancements. He attributed these gains to the ruling 'double engine' government ending anarchy and hooliganism, thus helping Uttar Pradesh become a rapidly growing state with robust expressway networks and a rising economy.
