Owaisi Denounces High Court Order on Bhojshala Complex

AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi criticizes the Madhya Pradesh High Court's decision favoring Hindu worship at the Bhojshala complex, comparing it to the Babri Masjid case. The court's order partially overturns the ASI's previous directive while suggesting alternative resolutions for the Muslim community. The legal discourse remains deeply contentious.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Owaisi has publicly voiced his opposition to the recent ruling by the Indore High Court regarding the Bhojshala complex. He drew comparisons with the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi case, signaling the potential for escalated tensions.

Owaisi highlighted the oversight of the Places of Worship Act by the court, which protects the religious character of sites as of August 15, 1947. He argued that the judgment disregarded significant historical records and ongoing legal disputes concerning the Bhojshala site.

The court's decision, which has been hailed as "historic" by representatives of the Hindu community, grants the right to perform Hindu worship rituals at the Bhojshala. It also suggests the allocation of alternate land for Muslim worship, leaving the case steeped in legal and cultural complexities.
