In a significant political move, the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), a crucial partner of the Congress in Kerala, has unveiled its selection of ministers for the state's new Cabinet led by V D Satheesan.
At a press conference, Panakkad Sadik Ali Shihab Thangal, the IUML leader, announced the names of the five leaders entrusted with ministerial duties: P K Kunhalikutty, N Shamsuddin, K M Shaji, P K Basheer, and V E Abdul Gafoor.
The decision, Thangal noted, was reached after thorough internal discussions and in line with the coalition's power-sharing framework, marking a new chapter in Kerala's governance.
