Yogi Adityanath Criticizes Congress's Historic 'Appeasement Politics'

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has leveled criticism at the Congress, accusing the party of 'appeasement politics' that allegedly led to India's Partition well before the nation even held its first general election. Addressing a session at a BJP district training camp in Gorakhpur, Adityanath claimed Congress began this strategy before the Constitution's full implementation.

The Chief Minister highlighted the historical importance of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bharatiya Jana Sangh, spearheaded by Syama Prasad Mookerjee, in fostering India's nationalism. He emphasized Mookerjee's vocal opposition to Article 370, introduced by Congress in Kashmir, and noted the continuation of these ideals by Deen Dayal Upadhyay during the latter years.

Adityanath further recounted the journey of the BJP, from its inception in 1980 through the advocacy for a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which he describes as a 'Rashtra Mandir' heralding a new era for India's culture. The temple symbolizes the realization of a long-standing dream, igniting a broader spirit of hope and cultural resurgence.
