After intensive debates and discussions, the UDF has finalized its list of cabinet ministers. Chief Minister-designate V D Satheesan reached Lok Bhavan to hand over the list to the Kerala governor on Sunday.
Earlier announced as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP), Satheesan is set to be Kerala's next chief minister, concluding a period of uncertainty regarding the party's leadership. The Congress-led UDF recently secured a notable majority in the state assembly elections.
Following several rounds of meetings with Congress leaders and allies, the cabinet list was concluded. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on May 18.
