YSRCP's Wheels of Protest: Andhra Pradesh's Call Against Fuel Hikes

Statewide protests erupted across Andhra Pradesh as YSRCP officials and supporters expressed their discontent over soaring petrol and diesel prices. The protests featured innovative demonstrations, with leaders riding bicycles in Visakhapatnam and hosting bullock cart rallies in Kurnool and Vijayawada.

Leading the charge, senior YSRCP leader K Venkata Nageshwar Rao criticized the TDP government for escalating fuel costs. Drawing comparisons with neighboring states, he underscored broken promises by TDP leaders, who he claimed had vowed to reduce prices on assuming power.

Rao drew attention to the adverse impact on common people, particularly auto drivers affected by the 'Stree Shakti' scheme. He accused the TDP-led administration of regressing the state economy by imposing hefty taxes and fuel hikes, reminiscent of past hardships.
