Outgoing Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan called on President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Friday.
The President's office shared a picture of the meeting through a post on X.
''Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, along with his spouse, called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,'' it said.
General Chauhan completes his tenure on May 30.
The Centre has appointed Lieutenant General (retd) N S Raja Subramani as the new CDS. He will also function as the secretary to the government of India, Department of Military Affairs, with effect from the date of assumption of charge.
