Newly sworn-in West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari called on President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Friday.
The president's office shared a picture of the meeting in a post on X.
''Chief Minister of West Bengal, Shri Suvendu Adhikari called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,'' it said.
Adhikari took oath as West Bengal's first Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief minister on May 9.
He also met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh here.
Singh shared an update and some photos of his meeting with the West Bengal chief minister in a post on X.
