West Bengal is gearing up for a major cabinet expansion, with 35 ministers slated to take their oaths on Monday as revealed by the state's Chief Minister, Suvendu Adhikari. This expansion marks a significant move in the current government's efforts to consolidate power and further its agenda.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Lok Bhavan at 11 am, with Governor RN Ravi set to administer the oath. In a social media update, Adhikari highlighted the formation of a full-fledged Council of Ministers for the nationalist government elected by the people of West Bengal. This significant event follows the BJP's victory in the assembly elections, which ended a 15-year domination by the TMC. Adhikari, along with four ministers, had earlier taken their oaths on May 9.
