Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and World Bank President Ajay Banga jointly launched two key initiatives, 'UP-AGRIS' and 'AI Pragya,' aiming to elevate Uttar Pradesh's status as a progressive state.
The UP-AGRIS project, backed by a significant Rs 4,000-crore investment, seeks to enhance agricultural productivity through modern technology in Purvanchal and Bundelkhand. The initiative is set to benefit 10 lakh farmers, with significant support from the World Bank.
Meanwhile, the 'AI Pragya' program focuses on training 10 lakh youths in AI, aiming to make Uttar Pradesh a hub for artificial intelligence. This move is part of a broader vision to make the state a one-trillion-dollar economy and a global growth engine.
