Dialogue: The Pillar of Democracy, Says UP's CM

Speaking in Gorakhpur, he lauded India's economic achievements under PM Modi and detailed local urban development initiatives, underscoring citizen involvement and municipal improvements.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the significance of dialogue in democracy, stating that it is essential for resolving issues and achieving ease of living and business. He was speaking at the inauguration of the Urban Service Centre and Senior Citizen Day Care Centre in Gorakhpur.
Adityanath commended India's economic progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that India has overtaken Britain and Japan to become the world's fourth largest economy. The CM emphasized the importance of citizen involvement in urban development, urging the formation of mohalla sanitation committees and improved traffic management.
Adityanath also directed the Gorakhpur municipal corporation to prepare for the monsoon by cleaning drains and enforcing a plastic ban. He touted improved drainage systems in the city and announced plans to develop the Gordhaiya Nala Project into a tourism site.
