Tragedy Strikes as Elephant Attack Claims Life in Kerala

In a tragic incident, an elderly man named Kumaran lost his life in the early hours of Thursday following a wild elephant attack in a village in north Kerala. The attack occurred under the jurisdiction of Hemambika Nagar police station.

The unfortunate incident took place around 3 am when Kumaran, who was in his 60s, stepped out of his house and was trampled by the rogue elephant. Prompt action was taken as forest officials immediately reached the scene.

The attack has sparked widespread anger among local residents, leading to a protest demanding more effective measures against the recurring elephant attacks in the area.
