Yasin Tadvi, chief of Thane's disaster management cell, revealed that the alarm was raised by a local resident around 9.15 am. Fire brigade teams from Thane and Navi Mumbai promptly arrived at the scene to commence firefighting operations. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The firefighting efforts succeeded in controlling the fire by noon, and cooling operations are now underway. Authorities are currently investigating the possible causes of the fire, as emphasized by Tadvi.
